To start, we must give a little background on this car. This R34 started its life as a GTT rear wheel drive platform and was then recruited to become a stunt double for the hero car for the Fast and Furious 4 movie. This car was one of the lucky few that didn’t crashed and was able to be saved by the current owner. We received a phone call from the customer wanting and RB26 full AWD swap into a R34 GTS RWD. We thought to ourselves, no big deal, same chassis right?? WRONG! After scoping the project details, we found out the chassis are completely different. The best way to explain this is trying to make a 240sx AWD, not a bolt on affair. Several modifications needed to be made for this swap to work, customized trans tunnel, custom trans mount, custom driveshaft, full front and rear subframe modifications, and the list continues.

not really...except for the ones that were leagally imported by motorex.

even if you find a loop hole, it's still a loop hole and you stand a chance of getting your car seized and crushed. My friend recently had his two r33 gtrs seized and crushed, even though he thought they were legally registered.
