he has a low idle not a high idlecosta_rican13 wrote:^^^^ditto but its IACV. and also i reccomend checking your MAF(mass air flow sensor) is connected on the intake piping. if your problem is still not solved then i say replacing all the gaskets for the entire intake manifold. it will take you a good 4-5 hrs, depending on experience and knowledge of cars, also variety of tools you have as well. this should give you the correct idle if all this is done properly.
sounds weird. i guess the aac valve could be blocked and you have the idle adjustment screw in all the way and the throttle plate is binding. the ficd valve opens when a/c is on which lets extra air in. the ficd and aac and fixed idle hole are all part of the iacv.240sxcl50 wrote:I have a problem with my idle being that it is to low.Its only low if my a/c button isnt pushed in no a/c or if the defroster button isnt in.
