Hey.just like a lot of other people I was wondering about putting the I30t side sills on my car. Someone suggested that Maxima side skirts should fit as weel tho, considering the whole middle section of the car is identical. Does anyone know about that? Plus does anyone have experience with any of the after market body kits, which ones shouldn't have fitting problems and also one last big thing. Will it not look ridiculous if I just put let's say the "Evo" or "Kombat" side skirts on without having anything at the front and rear? I know I could import the lips from Australia, BUT i'm not floating in that much dough right now ^^

I've heard mixed opinions on the maxima skirts fitting. I've never actually seen max side skirts on an i30 though. Here are the two that I've found (first is oem, second is aftermarket)

EDIT: Having only the evo or kombat side skirts w/o anything on the front and back will look retarted.

I'm too lazy to look at the links, but you might be better off having at kit custom made for you.

When I went kit shopping for my I30, all of the kits were over $1500 and looked bleh.

I know of a shop out here in Cali that will custom make you one for $2000. I think that includes painting and install, but don't quote me on that.

I realize that $2000 is pricey, but you can have something unique that no one else will.

You're going to love the way that car drives when you're done.

I would start the Illuminas at 3 and work your way to a combo you like. Setting them to 1 allowed for too much bounce and I bottomed out too often. Setting them to 5 gave me a numb butt
