I'm 17 years old,and i finally got my first car.
The first thing i want to do is get some new wheels for this baby.
What is a good size for the Altima coupe?
I was thinking going black on the rims and buying some smoked out vinyl overlays for my taillights, but many say chrome rims. idk i like both.
Comments please =]

congrats on ur 1st car! wow, 17 and u getting a coupe? Lucky kid. At ur age, u can go ahead and rice it out tastefully. Don't chrome 'em, go w/ur 1st choice of black rims and smoked overlays. 18-19's would look good w/a drop. Next u can decide on whatever aesthetic mod u'd prefer first: exhaust, grille, lip, bodykit, led's, etc. Remember the motto, rice is good, if done cleanly. If u decide u wanna add some performance cred, add an intake. Hope that helps!

Dude, congrats on a new ride. Lucky kid, my first car was a POS 81 Mustang LX i bought for $500 bux making about 3.00 an hour washing dishes, that was about 2 decades ago :). most people go with 18-19s on thier coupes. Just look around these forums and you will get a lot of ideas on mods for your car. You will get a lot of personal opinions and bla bla bla, but remeber what is most important, what looks good to you, and makes you happy.

Congrats man. Definitely a fun car to have.

IMO, blacked out or machine finished rims look really slick on all Altimas but get what you want to be seen driving.

Make sure to keep it away from the haters at your school or you will probably watch a few Frisbees bounce off of your car. Kids are messed up these days.

Welcome to NICO.

You can legally sign for a car at 17? Any co-signers?

Are you kidding? Don't all 17-year-olds have $20,000 in cash lying around?

Yea i wanna get some gunmetal rims on mines 18s since i think 19s and 20 would make the ride a bit rough..... plus they pretty heavy.

Grats, dude. Enjoy... but not too much. Don't want to be seeing a post about your second car, three months from now.
