Oh yes, the kiss cam. Annoying as it gets. Nothing is better than having your privacy invaded by a camera posting it all up for everyone to see. lol

Perhaps ... but ignoring your girlfriend ... multiple times ... for a phone call, when she is saying something, is far more unacceptable. :chuckle:

Okay. But the camera guys are jerks for doing it to the poor guy three times. I don't even think the guy knew he was on camera.

Probably! :chuckle:

But, actions should not be based on whether someone is watching or not. :yesnod

:spitout: That's hilarious! You know, considering the whole point of a kiss cam?

Oops, I wasn't clear ... I meant my comment in the sense of "Don't do the 'right thing' just because you think people might be watching - do it because it is the right thing". :)

Now, if the guy would not have kissed her regardless, then maybe the relationship was destined for the toilet anyway. :chuckle:

Basically, if I was on the phone, and my wife were to ask me to talk to her urgently for something ... let alone three times ... I wouldn't arbitrarily shut her up! That would be most disrespectful, and I would deserve the liquid. :yesnod

I Disagree. There is no need to escalate the situation. If he then pushed her for the water, escalating one more step, is that okay too? 'Course not. If guys can't play by the escalation rules, neither can women. Nobody gets special treatment. If she doesn't like being ignored, she can ignore him.

Okay, we disagree. :yesnod "Ignoring" her would be one thing, but actively doing what that guy did was not right.

Her reaction was relatively mild "escalation" in the grand scheme of things.

I'm with Z on this one.

As a man, your job is to put in the effort. If you're unwilling, don't be surprised when your spouse / girlfriend doesn't meet your expectations.

That dude's a fail anyway... although, something about the whole thing looks a little "scripted" to me.

Regardless, good on her for dropping the toolbag - She could use a few more trips up those stairs, too. ;)

I hate going out with people who instead of actively interacting with the people around them, they sit there texting or talking on the phone. Especially if the talking or texting isn't about a life altering situation. If he's going to take his girl out to a ballgame, at least have to decency to put interacting with her first and foremost.

My wife used to do that to me, talking to her friend Melanie about dumb stuff. I'd get mad and tell her to get off the phone, she could call her when we weren't spending time together.

..Then she wanted to talk to me about that same dumb stuff. I never learned.

Your fault. You forgot to tell her that any mention of the dumb stuff can wait til she's with her friend.
