How would i adjust my clutch pedal?

when its cold its fine, but as soon as the car warms up, the pedal becomes very hard and i have NO freeplay, as soon as i press it in it engages, could it be more than just the pedal?i recently had my clutch and clutch master cylinder changed, like a week ago could it just need adjusting? and how would i go about doing it?

you can adjust the master cylinder pushrod at the clevis on the pedal, it shoudl have just a hair of freeplay before it starts moving the pushrod

yeah i noticed it was like less than an inch of freeplay, almost nothing

well i adjusted it to where i liked it, but now the car wont turn on. now i gotta adjust the small button that the clutch pedal hits

Did you read the part that says adjust the 2 witches evenly and then the pedal up until it depresses the 2 switches? It's a pretty simple procedure.

*That other adjustment tech link is ok, but it doesn't address adjusting the switches which are important as you've just found out.

Good rule not to override things unless you know 100% what your doing, you needed to just adjust your pedal play to compensate for ither a grinding, or slipping. I'd suggetst avoiding zip-tieing things....

do you still have a touch of freeplay at the clevis?if the clevis has freeplay it's ok to adjustt eh saftey switch, if you preloaded the clevis somethign else is wrong

i checked the push rod and and its almost completely out, i over did it

properly adjusted there should be no tension on the clevis pin, if it's pushing or pulling on the clevis it's wrong
