I vaguely remember doing it a better way than what's out there on teh internets...
Image

it had a few more complicated origami-style folds with mitered corners to keep the overlap away and to have a more glove-like fit... but I can't remember how to do it

can anyone else with better searching skills try to find it? Thanks in advance

yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup,

but I remember doing it a better way than this; now i'm trying to pass it on to my NICO-tots, which need to cover their texts in this fashion...

It's like when some kids make paper airplanes like this:

but I made my planes like this:

Wow, I haven't wrapped a book since high school. I remember how much fun it was to draw balls on people's covers when they weren't looking.

Yep. Haven't seen this since high school. Haha. Towards the end, most people were just using those little elastic slip cover type thingies.

update

FOUND IT! :domo:

here's the link:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Decorat ... e-Corners/

that step 5 was confusing with her pics about that corner fold with the pink paper, but i sorta figured it out with the initial pic on the book cover...

then, i stopped at step 6 because the rest was kinda :sissies: & let her decorate her cover with a sharpie...

I'm gonna upload some pix here because her classmates & teacher wanna learn how to do this too & she's still confused with that corner fold :gotme

before i put clear tape on the corners:

I did not know anyone put paper bags on their books for covers. This is all new to me, however, that airplane is not. I remember making it and a few others in 3rd grade. We were supposed to learn something, but who knows what that was.
