I did a search and came up with nadda...

How do I go about putting a new bulb in that housing? This is the one on the drivers side. I fiddled with the screw, but all it does is moves the light closer or futher away .

On a different subject, I am very proud of myself for replacing the air filters and putting the front plate back flush!! Didn't even break anything! (well maybe stripped one screw lol)

you have to take off the bumper cover. The fog light s are bolted to the bumper reinforcement, and inside a plastic housing.

no, just took off the side marker and i was able to acess the nuts to take it off.

My problem now is the bulb I got from the auto parts store has a male end and needs a female end... Guess I could bend it, but I'd rather have one thats supposed to be there. Anyone?

My favorite part of this whole replacing of the fog light bulb is the thermal sleeve around the bulbs wire. Looks like a chinese finger trap!

Stupid auto parts store selling me the wrong bulb! Took both lights out just to verify the housing wasnt bad.

you can trash the sleeve. the fogs are H3 bulbs for the record.

Yah the H3 is the right bulb, but it has the wrong connector. The one on the new bulb is flat, where as the one that will fit needs to be rounded.

edit: you have to splice the old end onto the new one... or pay 30 bucks for one from nissan.

Is there a brighter bulb I can put in the stock light or is there a brighter unit that will fit the hole? The stock bulbs/units are not bright enough for me.

^ get an HID kit for your fogs. that's about the only way.

I removed the glare guards and that made it a lot brighter. Its not legal but I think that a lot of us have done things that are not really legal to our cars.

if your putting a hid kit on the fogs you need to drill the back of the housing out to accomidate the bulb wires as they connect different than the regular h3 bulbs. So there is a little more work than just the plug and play like the low/high beams but it's nothing to hard.
