Ok this is a big noob question but i just got my 1991 skyline GTR from the docks and it needs new pads, Iam trying to change the pads the usual way in a car (undo bottom bolt and slide caliper up) but this doesnt seem to be the case for these calipers.

Any help would be great!! thanks

No need to remove the top or bottom bolt, simply remove the spring from the ends of the two retaining pins, then pull the retaining pins out and the pads will slide out from the top of the caliper. You can use your own tool of choice to push the pistons back in, a c-clamp or even a screwdriver pressed against the old pad will work in a pinch.

Ok,I just undid the bottom bolt and was trying to slide the whole caliper assembly upwards like on most cards. Ill try doing that spring thing, but i cant see how i could possible fit a c-clamp in their to push the pistions back.
