I assume we're talking about the under hood air filter (not the in cabin one?)

I actually looked in the FSM and owner's manual and couldn't find this so I went to the garage and here's what I found...

Remove the clips on the duct by prying the centers out with a small screw driver.Unsnap the four retainer clips

Remove the 10MM bolt that holds the back side of the air box to the body.

Then you can push the back side of the box backward and the front side forward to remove the filter. It's tight but it can be done.

This one makes me happy

Just amazes me that there are that many steps. I spent about five minutes figuring it out, and another 45 playing "find the screwdriver" after it slid behind some trim.

The good news is that the oil is easier to change than on a G50. And the spark plugs look like a breeze!

Don't. Buy a JWT Cold air intake kit, has E.O. sticker so it is legal and will not void your warranty. JWT also has CAMS for that car. I have a G35x with the kit and cams and it runs real strong[I am addicted to AWD cars: I also have a totally legal 500+whp (on pump gas) R32]
