HId pics on STOCK projector low beam (EX35 non Hid)

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

HID pics inside the car: H11 35W LOW BEAM 6000K and H8 35W H8 fog 3500K.

LOW Beam and fog (Sorry a little blurry) This is definitely a COP magnet I`ll only going to use the fog if my life is at stake. Honestly, light beam is so low that it can only hit the lower part of the front bumper of the car travelling on the opposite direction.

Low Beam only.

Low Beam closer to the wall (do I need to adjust something here?)

Doesn`t look like a typical hid cutoff like this

Low and fog closer to the wall (looks green in the picture but it`s very yellow in person (in light)

Actually, if you view the foglight lense from the outside, there is a hint of yellow green on the edges. I think it all depends to what kind of HID kit you`re getting.

I`ll try to get some pic tomorrow night. I could have done it just a few

minutes ago, but I only had a cell phone camera . Tomorrow night I`ll use

a dedicated digital cam.

Just so you know, I won`t be able to turn my foglight on without turning

the LOW beam on , which is an HID too. So getting an accurate image

might be a bit complicated , but I`ll give it a shot...

thanx. i am having these shipped to me. hopefully i will get them in a couple of weeks. i just want to get an idea of what they look like to oncoming traffic.. i plan on using them. im just hoping the yellow isn't to yellow. There are a few STi's around here and they have yellow fogs. but theirs don't seem to bright..

As I said before, If I`m looking my car at the front (as if I`m the on coming

car) the foglight is not deep yellow , but yellow with some hint of green

around it (like corona). Like I said, it all depends on the hid kit you`re

getting . I have a DDM H8 slim kit with a 3000K. Their bulb is not yellow

coated , but there seems to be a hint of yellow if look at it in an angle.

So some blue light possibly not filtered and causes that hint of green

aesthetically. But from inside the car it`s very very deep yellow.

This is not my car , but it`s a DDM 3000K HID fog kit.

The kit from DDMTUNING.COM

You`ll be surprised how much the cost of this KIT!

I can`t do it tonight man, sorry.

i am just curious, do most of you Ex owners prefer the yellow 3000k look?

I understand that it is better in fog conditions and produce more light but i am not a fan of the yellow color...

I plan to get 8000k for fogs in summer, a bit nippy outside now.

i had 6K as fogs on my last car. i liked them.. im just trying to go for a different look and my friend is a distrubutor for HID lights. So if i get tired of the yellow and i don't want it anymore, its easy for me to swap them out.

I bought the kit for $55 with lifetime warranty for bulb and ballast.

If one bulb burn out, they will replace both to even out the color.

I also bought a relay harness and one was DOA. They send me a new one

and didn`t have to return the bad one. I really like them a lot.

Currently, they are slow with shipping if you buy new items from them , but

for warranty replacement, they are quick. The best way to do it is to keep

an extra HID kit just in case it dies prematurely. This way you don`t have

to wait for them to ship you a replacement.

95% of HID kit are made in CHINA and rebranded when hit our shore.

DMM seems to have the best support and best price.

About 3000k fog light, I prefer yellow than white. It has more contrast on

the road when raining or foggy. It also has more LUMEN.
