Help resetting airbag light

As you may know,I wrapped my steering wheel bezel in the carbon fiber wrap and now I am having a heck of a time resetting my airbag light.
I found the steps here (and also posted for help there too).

I have achieved the "slower" blink status but I can't get it to stop blinking... I go through the steps again and then it goes back to the rapid blinking,,, go through them again and get back to the slower blinking again but still can't get past that.

Any suggestions??

They are quick at the g37 forum... Updates on that link. Should be an easy cheap fix.
