Hello everyone, I am new here and hope to stick around.

I may be purchasing a 2006 G35 A/T coupe that has 152xxx miles on it, and wanted to ask what are things I should be looking out for? I have researched a bit and hear the timing chain tensioners can go bad, and that a lot of G35 MT's get oil consumption issues but am unclear if that effects the A/T's.

You didn't mention the price.

Prior to purchase obtain the VIN number.

Go meet the service manager at your local Infiniti dealer and ask if they would run the VIN number thru their computer. Also ask the cost of a complete vehicle inspection prior to purchase.
Request the current owner drive it over to the Infiniti dealer for an inspection. If they refuse, walk away.
Any items discovered during the inspection are price negotiable.
