Hello to everyone, we are brand new to the forum (Unless you count reading up about the S14)!! We would like to share some of our current project.

We got this 1995 S14 from a guy on C-list. He had already been messing with the car (and by messing I mean painting stupid things...) so we decided to correct all his errors first.

Last winter we pulled the engine, cleaned and coated it, had it machined, new internals, blanced crank, all that. Replaced the radiator with a nice unit, and adapted electric cooling fan. All the poly mounts got installed. We put the Z32 brakes on all 4 corners, and did some minor stuff like the steering wheel and hub.

This winter we are taking on the KA24det challenge. We are also about done with our circuit relocation (Relays, wiring, removing dead systems, battery where the blower motor and ducks went in the dash). We ordered our new intake manifold, turbo manifold, fuel pump and injectors. Much more is on the way.

Yep, thats it! Please give us some feedback, insights, and we are glad to be apart of this community!!

Its like 4 or 6 bolts, Not worried about it. We got it all powdercoated red last winter. We got the new intake manifold in, but idk about it.

Image

We drive this thing when we want to, always in the heated garage. The battery has much life in it =)

So we finally got parts. =D T04E my baby...

Image

So no problem on the install

Image

Maybe a few =)

1.) So in relocating the relay box to the dash, Im concerned about the Power Probe readings. We decided to Kill our ground circuit. So why would it show 12.4 at chassis ground with the kill off?? It makes little sense that the 240 could be running circuitry without a ground? When the kill is ON, everything is normal.

Image

Ill update asap. Things are movin, lets see where our 30k s14 goes!

Hey! So its been a busy week, but were chuggin along.
Got the injectors today. Just waiting on our intake piping.

Question:
Is the coolant to the throttle necessary? I freaking hope not.

Image
All torn back down again. Looks good tho =D

The turbo getting all its fittings ready.

The shop. Nice and warm!

Excellent. Didn't wanna run the hoses because of the new intake mani and heater core bypass. Thanks

Nice build! Looking good so far. How much hp you trying to get out of this?? Also ive heard lots of bad stories about frame oil filters on Nissan's, just thought let ya know, don't want all that going down the drain just cause of a $5 part!:)

Ya, I heard FRAM uses a paper element that fibers fall off of blah blah. Not sure if its really a huge issue. Just got back from a mini vacation. All the piping came in. Gotta figure out a smooth way to mount the intercooler.

HP wise, were looking for around 275 or so.

Ill be over there later re-sealing the front cover and oil pan. Ill do some photoshooting.

Nice job so far. Might be a bit of over kill if you want 275, but it should do the trick

=D

So I decided to refurb the fuel rail because its all corroded and everything else is brand new.
Image

Looks good. We were planning on a new rail, but screw it for now. Too much to do..

Image
Looks really nice tho. I hope this doesn't interfere with fuel temp.

Image
We also installed a MrGasket fuel pressure gauge inline.

So we were arguing about the routing of the wastgate/BOV/boost controller. I was wondering if anyone had any diagrams or nice pictures or insights to this.

BOV goes on the cold side, and gets vac and post-throttle?
Wastgate goes to the boost controller and then to vac?

I know I know search, but I really dont want to hack up the intercooler piping and mess all the nice bungs up.
