Went back to one of my favorite places to take pictures.

1. This is a composite of three images. It's the same birds, just in three different places.
Image

2. Taken a few minutes later and zoomed in a bit. Different processing too. You can see the ocean through the front door on both of these.

3. Lens distortion is pretty apparent in this one.

4. Trying to get more realistic looking HDR. This photo might look a little familiar to some of you. I was basically trying to get a shot similar to one of my older ones (can be found HERE) just from a different angle.

5.

Thanks for looking! :)

Holy sh*t, Otto. Those are gorgeous. That house would be a place I'd hole up in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

Read 'retread' as 'retard' and had hopes of curing Nala.

The only cure for Nala is a deposed Nigerian prince and a Western Union cashier with a good sense of humor.

Now back to Otto's regularly-scheduled thread.

Great photos, 1 & 2 look like there was a filter involved?

Sorry for the late reply.

No filter. Just some gradients and brushes in post processing.

I had two guesses as to what this thread was about and both of them were wrong.
Dr.Who
And Fallout 3.

Great work, you must enjoy photography - it shows!

Thank you. :)

I love photography. I'm still kind of getting back into it after hardly even using my camera for a couple of months.

You would be surprised as to what you can do with even a little point and shoot. You don't need a high end setup to create good images, all you need are practice and a basic understanding of how the camera works.

All of mine are taken on a point and shoot. The best way to learn is to just get out there and start taking pictures.
