WHat year is your ute and what motor does it have? I did this same swap on my 87 navara from a 2.3 to the td27. It was a straight bolt in and just took a little jiggling to line up. BUT the sump was hitting the front cross member so had to change the sump from the td27 to the one off the 2.3, that bolted straight on. My navara is 2wd by the way. If i could get the specs on your ute i may be able to help

Cheers

I was planning on dropping a td27 into my Hardbody in a couple years. Hypothetically it should work the transmission for the ka24e. Variables should only be exhaust and intake. I'm not sure about on-board computer. I wish one could just buy diesel vehicles (other than crazy expensive vw's and over-priced american hd trucks) in the states. There's some conspiracy against them though, and yanks are ignorant about them. I found a 'running' condition td27 in texas for sale on dieseltrader.com. So I know they're out there.
