I'm sorry to hear something awful like that man.

I hope the guilty party is taking it in the a** on daily basis awaiting a needle or chair.

One of them has been sentenced to life in jail, far worse than death if you ask me. His father, who pulled the trigger, is out and about. He even shops at the same grocery store as my family and I, and there isn't a damn thing I can do about it

Because Az has a law called the marital privilege, the wife(only witness) couldn't be forced to testify against her husband, so only the son was convicted.

The fight is far from over. We are working with various groups to get the marital privilege changed in a way that it is irrelevant for murder cases. There is no stature of limitations on murder, so we have a lifetime to get this guy back in jail.

Another sad thing is that my sister had a Glock 26 in her purse at the time. You can own an entire arsenal and it will be useless if you are not prepared.

Anyone have any experience with Mosin's?I've been wanting a higher power rifle and was trying to decide between a Mosin-Nagant, a 98k, or a Lee-Enfield. The Mosin is by far the least expensive, but I'm unaware how easily 7.62x54 is to obtain.I really like my friend's 98k, but the cheapest I've found one is in the $400 range and that's a bit out of my budget.

Any thoughts?

He will. With the lifestyle he lives, it won't be long....

No personal experience wit the Mosin, but everyone I know with one seems satisfied for the cost.

The K98's I've fired have had some of the smoothest actions. Well worth the price.

Mosins are a kick in the pants to shoot.

Ammo is still pretty easy to get online. You can get 440 round tins for around 90 dollars so its reasonably priced.

If you just want a cheap reliable fun blaster, you can't go wrong with a Mosin. Buy a case or two of ammo and have fun at the range.

they're great rifles.

ammo can be found way cheaper than 8mm too.

you can get a very nice rifle for 100 or less if you shop around a bit.

s***, I meant to print off the application forms for a C&R License so I can just get hand picked guns mailed to my house.

I found a CZ-82 to fondle in a gun shop yesterday....very nice feeling gun, they however wanted 250 for it...F that. I think they're eligible for a C&R license and can get handpicked for less than 200

there'a Czech Mauser variant availble at better prices than a Nazi proofed K98...about half.

stay away from the Turkish rifles.

you could also look for a Schmidt and Rubin K31. I want one in a bad way after fondling one my friend's dad owns. Ammo isn't as easy to find compared to the 7.62x54r or 8mm but all you can find IS however surplus match grade. I'm wathing to say it's 7.5x55 Swiss, I can't remember for sure....Bobo will correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Yup. 7.5x55 swiss. My son has one and we load for it. Great freaking rifle. And you can get an awesome STRONG non-drill scope mount (not a crappy scout style) for the gun.

My dealer has another one and I'm thinking about buying that one. Too bad that its 250. I paid 100 bux for my first one.

I just wish that they had polymer stocks for the k31 that you could put on without modifying the gun. I would love to semi-sporterize one (non-destructive).

We have about 150 pieces of reloadable Norma brass (pretty much the best brass out there) and a case of 480 rounds of swiss GP11 (match grade mil surplus).

Just picked up a used CZ-452 Lux in excellent condition with a BSA Contender scope at the LGS for $325.

I'm excited as hell to shoot it, but as it is my wedding gift from my fiance, I have to wait until the wedding in May.

.......maybe I can get it out and play when she's off to work.

One of the most well built rifles I have ever held, and the walnut stock is beautiful. I'm still thinking about that Tikka T3 in 30-06 or .270 before deer season though.

I'm mainly planning on having some fun around 100yds with this. May buy some iron silhouettes and standard velocity ammo for practice.

Sitting at work today these two came walking through the door...

Both are made by a company called Penn. Arms. They are 37mm and the 6-shot is semi auto

Along with them came an MP41 that was just cut up 3 days ago I'll take some pics of it tomorrow.

Apparently the MP41 was a LOT harder to come by than the regular MP40. All of these(along with some 40MM and full auto stuff) were siting in a bonded warehouse. When the BATFE got ahold of it, they choped all of the full auto weapons up.

I have always wanted to see what 6 37mm flares in 4 seconds look like.

Oh wow. Just when I thought I was rather done buying guns, this has to come along and tempt me. If the P228s are as nice as the P6s that were around for the last couple of years and they are 500 or under, Im so down with one.

I love my p6.

I wanted a P6 but didn't find out about them until after they were gone.

I'm so down for a P228 though!

I'm hoping they show up for less than 4 myself

if it's justified, it seems it's usually returned.

BUT...if it had to be used, I'd say it was worth the price.

and pics or shens of said M1

Right now I'm down to just my CCW XD .40 SubCompact and my Maverick 88 18.5''. I love them both, the XD is accurate, reliable, easy to clean and maintain, I love the grip safety. I fully trust my life with it but it sucks for concealed carry in florida because it's heavy, bulky, makes you sweat even more and because of it's bulk it can be hard to conceal with just a t-shirt, I've starting wearing one size larger in t-shirts to help conceal it a little better. I love winter time because it's the only time I can slap in the 12rd mag, no chance of pulling that off in the summer with a t-shirt. I wear a Minotaur MTAC holster and absolutely love it, it's super comfortable and even with the bulk of the XD I forget I'm carrying

If you having trouble concealing that xd get an actual gun belt. Crossbreed makes some nice ones. Im a rather skinny guy and can conceal a full size 1911 a glock 17/19

the Subcompact isn't so bad.

the MTAC is very similar to the crossbreed Supertuck for a holster. Carry with a good belt and experiment with holster placement.

in FL though, yeah, I can understand wanting a gun to carry when you're not carrying a gun. Like a Ruger LCP or Keltec maybe. they're easy to stick in the pocket with a good holster.

I have a really nice gun belt that as a belt I think is great but as a gun belt ehhh, I have "regular" belts that hold my pistol tight to my hip and it doesn't try to walk around on me much. It's more of a high temp high humidity problem rather than a belt problem.

I got Colt 1911 and Colt 1903 and these are still considered to be one of the best pistols of all time. I am proud owner of Colt.
