That's retarded but with the way the t-tops are set up it kinda makes sense.

If we're worried about the T tops, I'd take this design any day of the week over that atrocity:

I like it, tons of custom work, I mean you'd have to fabricate a whole new door but I like it.

The gt40 is like that because the headroom is non-existant. gotta have the roof removable so you can duck in. i'm 5'10" and have no hopes of driving one. imagine closing the door and severing your neck lol

I didn't know he drove one, i just remember him trying to sit in one with his neck to the side. i think the newer gt40's headroom is a bit more than the original too. i'm not sure.
if that's the truth, i'm going to go ask to drive one. i know a guy :naughty:

It does look like the old irock-Z's. the headlights would look similar of there was no glass covering it keeping the shape of the front of the car.
my bud had a red one and we beat the hell out of it. it was fun :)

I saw a Bricklin driving down the road on sunday, and thought it was a z31 from behind, so i sped up to get a closer look, and thought to myself what the hell is this ugly a** thing. Then i got to the car show i was going to and low and behold a dozen spots down from me there was that same brownish-yellow turd.

OK, and in another post, I just mentioned the Bricklin doors (don't forget that Malcolm Bricklin also brought to our shores the Yugo). And in mentioning it again, it reminded me that if you want "cool" doors, try the 1954 Kaiser Darrin ...much better than Lambo doors.

Am i the only one that thinks doors should open the right way? i think nissan got it right the first time....

I think even expensive exotic cars look stupid with doors that open up and down and all around....hey Aston Martin creates the most beautiful amazing cars in the world in my opnion...and guess what no hella gay lambo or wing doors, just normal ones

The Aston Martin Rapide is full of sex. I would rather have a V8 Vantage Convertible, but the Rapide is beautiful nonetheless.

HOWEVER, Aston Martin's doors don't open "normal". They have a rocker style door handle, and the door's axis is actually elevated, so when it opens, it slightly lifts. It's very minor, maybe 3-4 inches at max draw, but still, they aren't exactly the same. Sorry, Just had to point it out, since I am a diehard Aston Martin fan, ever since riding in my Aunt's that she has in Florida.

The reason i dont like Lambo doors at all is because there is this character in my town that drives like a mid 90's toyota camry thats painted a darker orange (with metal flake) that has lambo doors and he thinks its just the coolest thing in the world. Haha trust me when i say its horrifying :barf:

AND i agree with u ffrpwner simply because there is nothing but problems with it even if there was a bullet proof kit i still think their is nothing cleaner than just regular. For me personally instead of spending 3k on lambo door kit i would way more rather upgrade my turbos :)

but anyway yess nissan deff. got it right the first time
