Funny you ask. I wasn't planning on getting anything until the end of next summer, but somebody has a pretty nice 32 GTR with Nizmo turbos, a triple plate clutch, and some brand new tires for $2500 because it's got a blown 3rd gear, no road tax paid, and no JCI. I seriously thinking about it.

The manifold in that ebay auction is not an Stec manifold. Looks similar in design, but it's for SURE no the same. No flange on the wastegate dump, different thickness, and who knows what kind of steel. Also, Scott doesn't sell on ebay.

SullivanRacing06: The drain line is the same size as the drain fitting that is screwed into the block which is a -10. You know it would be stupid of me to run a -4 to -6 drain line...... :slap: I didnt reduce it or anything??

The feed is a -4. Look at the last pic and that should give you an idea of the drain and feed line diameter diffrences.

I tried replying to your MP but it says you've still got them turned off. I used the stock size lines on the Skyline which are -6 IIRC, but don't quote me on that. Single feed, single return

More like its because I am running a Holset T4 turbo.

Raw Brokerage stopped making their manifolds after the first batch due to a redesign for more clearance etc. I found this out when I tried to purchase one, and they were out of stock a little over a month ago. There was no lead time on when the new design would be ready etc, so I decided to just build my own manifold out of schedule 10.

I hear a lot of good things about S-TEC though. It might have a very similar design to those Chinese ones, but it uses different materials and the turbo flange is clocked slightly different to allow more clearance for those big turbos. Just remember, just because it looks like a china manifold, doesn't mean it is. The Chinese make copies of existing designs from other popular name brands and designs.

If you have never done anything other than seen a picture of one of these on the internet, than you are just talking out your a** and have no clue.

-These manifolds are, in fact, made in China, along with all the Greddy, Trust, Tomei, and other parts out there
-They are 321 stainless, not 304
-They are 3mm thick and well NOT crack
-the weigh about twice what a craptastic Greddy mani weighs
-They are flanged for all RB's
-Each and every mani is QC'd by Scott (the owner of Stec) before they leave the door (fit tested to an RB head to make sure the flange is right, checked with a straight edge on the head and turbo flanges for flatness)

They don't have the attention to detail or look as pretty as lovefab or 6 boost mani's, but they also cost $400, so how much do you expect for a manifold that will never crack and fits?

Scott has sold all of his stock on these top mounts right now and is working with China to change the flange angle to give even more room between the ex housing and the valve cover. I have run one of these with my T4 19cm housing HX40 turbo (along with several other people here on island) and I have seen T-88's, china T-76's, and various other large frame turbos on these unmodified. Again though, the next batch (no, I don't know how soon they will be ready) will have a different angle on the turbo flange to provide even more room, but there is a lot there now.

CjMartz is right about the structure of this manifold. I have both a ebay manifold and the stec manifold and there is no doubt that the stec manifold will not crack. I mean this thing is twice as heavy as the ebay manifolds!! And he is right about the price....400 bucks will get you a obx manifold and thats about as good as it gets.

I know I'm opening up an old thread but I've searched and searched google for some type of contact info on stec motorsports and can't find anything. Is he still in business? The site link says its not the right domain. If anyone has a way to contact him I would really appreciate it. I don't care if its his shop number I don't mind calling and I'm well aware of the time difference I used live in okinawa. Thanks for the help.
