Got a service engine soon light in the pathfinder today, something i havent seen since about 86k when i replaced the o2 sensors, im at 134.6k now.

Anyways, i remember getting something before 86k, it had to do with the swirl control valve solenoid or however its called, i remember i unplugged it, and plugged it back in, cleared the codes, and its been fine ever since that time.

I pulled the code today with my obd2 tool and got:

Powertrain

Lack Of HO2S Switch - Adaptive Fuel At Limit

P1130

I've looked it up, and it has to do with that dumb solenoid again. This time maybe its actually broke or something because i shut it off earlier, did some driving and it came back, also i read that it could cause the cruise control to get funky, which i tryed and it did it in mine.

Before i start going to replace it, im wondering if anyone has the diagram of the vacuum lines this system uses (towncivilian) :) and any testing procedures for the solenoid , so i can go take it apart tommorow and make sure all of the lines are free of any debris or gunk and such.

Anyways thats about it, ill post up some photos and stuff when i have it apart for people in the future, but this actually gives me a motivator to do some of the other stuff i've been too lazy to do like replace powersteering fluid with valvoline full synthetic, wash my engine bay and detail it, and grease my suspension fittings (aftermarket).

The vacuum lines are in the FSM, which is on the site here somewhere.

And there's a recent thread here about this code.

Page EC-22-25 have some vacuum hose diagrams. First thing you should do is check that the vacuum hose for the swirl valve control solenoid is not clogged and is free of any damage.

Hello Towncivilian, how do I check these hose to make sure they are clean?
