I am looking for a good machine shop in the Nova/MD Area. Alot of the shops I have called have not worked on the VG engine and I want to have someone that has experience on these on a regular basis. I saw an old forum that said Citizens Machine Shop was good at a decent price but from talking to them it does not seem like it is a specialty of theirs. Does anyone have any reviews on their work or good review on any other machine shops in the area? Looking to have this work done soon. My girl keeps complaining that I have 3 z's and not a single one works.

What all are you having done? Like a full performance build? or just a stock rebuild?

Looking to do around a stage 4 based on IPP specs. Just bought JWT 500 cams with heavy duty springs, vtc springs, adapters and followers. The guy I bought them from used them for 4000 mile and then wrecked his car. Probably going to stick with weisco piston and eagle H rods and then go with all the general rebuild criteria you normally see with these things. There should be a local place in the MD/Nova area that does good work on these and knows what they are doing. Any ideas guys?

Ah hell, I know of a shop in VA, but I can't remember the name. I hate it when this happens. I'll post again if I can think of it.

Anyone heard of or used swanner's machine shop. I saw a good review on another forum but it was a couple years ago and he never came back to say how well the engine held up. Any other machine shop ideas are welcome.
