Does it work? Ad states 60 hp increase and increased fuel mileage. 2004 g35x runs on regular. If the chip works does it require premium? Does it effect reliability or longevity? Cost is $69. They advertise on the club web site.

Thanks

No, they (drop-resistor style mods) do not work properly. It does make some changes and you may get a minimum range of a bump but overall it is a net-negative and will make the motor less efficient.
