I'm sure someone's seen this before. I just saw it a little while ago and I want to see more. I'd like to see what all went into it.

I haven't been this intrigued by a car in a while.

If you do a search on Google with a picture's URL, you can find where else it's been posted.

I dont' know anything about the car though.

I LIKE THAT s***! This guy has my kind of style. If my 180 wasn't somewhat pristine I would roll it flat black with an SR71 theme with a fighter cockpit dash. I wonder if I could mount an ejector seat in there. Ryan, dealbreaker?

It's something different - really different; and I like it.

It only works because he went full retard with it. If you do something a bit outside the mainstream you have to commit or it fails. If he just did the flat paint, but threw in some different styles on the same car it would have looked confused. He appears to have really stuck to the theme throughout and that brings it together.

I was going to go pink with my future GT-R, but for the way I intend to use it a fighter theme is going to really fit.

I intend to sell the 180 in two years and pick up an R32 GT-R. My dream garage is an R30, an R32, a 68' Camaro or 70' 454 Chevelle and a Lamborghini Gallardo. The 180 doesn't fit in there anywhere. I only have it because it has sentimental value and the local tards would turn it into a drift missile if I let it leave my charge.

I'm still mulling over ideas for the R. I really liked the R32 I had painted pink.

I might bring it back.

Sounds like a good dream garage, your R30 is sweet. I thought you were hot and heavy on the CA18. Also didn't you pick up a 1jz/2jz a while ago? I been stumped myself. I can't decide if I want to get an R32 or mod a Z32 with R32 goodies and be AWD.

I almost bought an SR20 Silvia, but didn't have the money. A couple of months later my first wife bought the 180. She like the style, didn't care about the engine. I became familiar with the CA out of necessity. I became enthusiastic about it because the SR guys, not all, but enough to be significant, were a bunch of mindless fanbois who hated on the CA because it was cool and I tend to react to being pushed by pushing back. There are more than a few cars running around back then who could describe the a** end of that car tearing away from them.

I always root for the underdog. I was rolling an L20 when others had FJs back in the day and when the 180 showed up I was running around hurting RB25 fanbois with an RB20 so when the 180 was given to me the CA was my style and I continued with it.

Had I been handed an SR20 car I would have squeezed that one too with similar enthusiasm. The only difference would have been, I wouldn't have hated on the CAs because I don't form opinions based on popularity and groupthink. Were I stateside in a 240, there would be either an angry KA24 or a 3.1 L28 stroker in it. Nothing against the SR, it just doesn't answer any questions in my mind that a well-built KA can't. The L because I have parts and am familiar with it and know it to be a tough hombre.

I have amassed a large supply of CA parts and when I sell the 180 it will go with whatever engine is in it and nothing else. The extra s*** will remain in the stockpile. I have plans that require an extensive collection of vintage parts.

Truth.

Still wasn't able to find anything different other than a couple pictures. One of the pics I found was pre-widebody.

Yes, there's Nazi stuff. It fits the theme. The Nazis were bad. I'm not going to get hung up on it. I just want to know more about the car.

And the japanese were their allies... Just saying this car could've killlllled it on all levels just the same with a Zero theme paint scheme.
Love the fenders front and back, the stepped look ain't no joke.

The overall effect is definitely impressive, but I'm with Razi -- should have been Japanese Imperial badging rather than German. If you're gonna go Nazi, do that ish on an M3 or Audi R8.

the problem is this.. (IMO) rocking that in japan is the same as rocking a swazi in germany, you think people overseas-online are tripping? imagine the reactions germans would give to a swazi laden car... i imagine its the same looks a zero monikered car would get in japan. but id be curious to find out!

Just do the standard Hinomaru layout and you'll get the same effect without the cultural sensitivity issues.

Just make sure you put little white five-pointed stars with killmarks on the top of the doors right behind the A-pillar.

Yeps!

Photoshop looks pretty cool, if it were a dark green like the Zero it might look even better.
Agreed on switching the yellow and white.

If you want to keep it legit, have it being chased by a mustang with a hellcat paint job.
