ok i understand the stock tach n speedo will be inaccurate with the rb25det swap. i've been researching what can be done about this (r33 gauge cluster, send out the speedo n tach to get calibrated, etc) and decided on going with aftermarket gauges and a custom cluster similar to that of a race car. problem is i can't seem to find any info on how to do something like this. can anybody give me any tips? thanks.

the speedo on my 98 s14 rb25 is pretty accurate. I run 350z stock wheels and tires too. The tach is adjustable and can get it pretty close to actual rpm, its pretty easy too and i read somewhere that it's only off by like 150 rpm. On my 98 it was actually pretty easy cause the adjustment bolt is on the side of the tach gauge and u just have to remove the speedometer gauge to gain access to it while the rest of the cluster is hooked up and the engine is running. I had a 95 cluster that i took apart to test before i did mine and the location of the adjustment screw(the whole gauge actually) is different, its on the back of it so in order to adjust it while hooked up and engine running you have to used wires as extensions, may sound a bit complex but its rather simple. I have yet to check how precise mine is with an external tachometer but it kind of sounds accurate..
