Does anyone know the bearing numbers for replacing the idler pulley bearings? Do all bearings use the same bearing?

The number I've found in searching is 6303ZZ idler pulley bearing. I see that was referenced on a thread for a 1998 Q.

New idler pulley prices are listed below.

1192566U02 PULLEY IDLER $59.36
1192560U03 PULLEY ASSY-IDLER $55.06
1194560U03 PULLEY ASSY-IDLER $49.28

Check out this thread:

And this one:

See if you have a Motion Industries store in the area. Bearingss were only about $15 each IIRC.

The noisy pulley turned out to be A/C pulley. When I hold the pulley and turn it by hand I can feel a sight bit of grit or movement occurring within the bearing. Anyway it was not smooth. After I replaced it the noise stopped. I replaced all of the pulleys with new OEMs during the maintenance refresh roughly 30,000 miles ago. Has anyone else seen OEM pulleys fail at or near 30,000 miles?

replaced all 3 with oem parts 108,000 miles ago- still quiet.Originals lasted 203,000 miles before that.Is your bottom engine shield in place to help keep out road grit?

Nope.. I must admit I've been leaving it off to make oil changes easier. I bet that is a contributing factor. I still have it somewhere..

Well the high pitch whine is back and worse than ever. I took a mechanics stethoscope and stuck it to each idler pulley. The older pulleys for the alternator and PS are quiet. I could hear a high pitch whine coming from the NEW A/C pulley shaft. It hasn't even run an hour before it started making noise.

Has anyone had a problem with idler pulleys making a high pitched whining noise?

I assume you ruled out the possibility of the noise possibly stemming from a bad a/c compressor bearing,But yes, when my original pulley bearing started to go,it made a intermittent high pitch noise.Would be shocked to hear a new pulley bearing going bad w/i one hour.

Good news. The whine was coming from the A/C pulley splash shields. I replaced the other two pulleys and didn't find anything that would cause noise. So I decided to slightly loosen the 14mm bolt that holds on the A/C idler pulley and the noise went away. After a couple of tries and modifications to the rear shield, I decided to just remove it. That took care of 70% of the noise.

For the front shield, I happened to have a slim washer to go between the bearing and the shield. The protective shields on the A/C idler pulley were ringing like a couple of bells. The problem was with a new out of the box OEM assembly that I received this week.

The Dayco idler pulleys are nice and quiet. I could feel some bearing shift in a couple of the pulleys so I'm glad I replaced everything. The PS pulley was the only pulley that didn't show any signs of wear.

Now the noise is back. Not as bad as earlier today -- but it's back. When spinning the A.C pulley manually I didn't feel or hear any noise. The last Nissan clutch bearing that I had to replace made a distinctive grinding noise. I need a new compressor so tomorrow morning I will cut the belt.
