I recently tried to change the oil in my g37 and being in a previous America car owner I accidentally drain the transmission flI replace the oil and went to leave my house And immediately noticed the transmission was slipping. I drove the car maybe 500 feet and parked it pushed it to the shop got transmission fluid in it.

now when I Drive the car from time to time I experience slipping in first gear or seems like a failure to engage and I have to let off the gas so that it will engage. please advise me what I may have done to the Transmission or what I Should expect to remedy the problem.

Thank you.

Did you use NISSAN Matic S ATF when adding fluid to the transmission (assuming it's an automatic)?

I DId send it to Infiniti Dealer and they added the Nissan S Matic ATF transmission fluid. Also I have been doing some further reading and I found out that I possibly will have to get the computer set as the TCM and the ECM might be out of sync.

Any suggestions on what that would cost and if that would be the likely problem?

Thanks.

Do you have any codes stored? There is a TSB on the TCM/ECM: ITB10-075a

You can get the TSB via http://www.infinitig37.com/Infiniti-G37 ... itins.html
