G35 spare tire REMOVAL tool?

My friend does not have the spare tire removal tool to lower the spare tire on his 2004 G35 suv, from looking at the photos of it could a long screwdriver be used as a substitute? THANKS in advance.

I'm guessing you mean E35, not G5.
Take a look at the factory service manual to see if they have a picture for it. I'm sure one would be available from the dealer (or junkyard) if need be.

Just tell your friend to join the AAA.
Then he'll never need to worry about it

For some reason, I thought the rod was a square drive, not like a flat head screwdriver or something.
