I have a 2004 G35 sedan with 160,000. the problem is that when the is warm it won't start. When trying to start the ground cable has gotten warm enough to melt the insulation, but once the car has cooled down it will start without incident. Can anyone point me in the right direction correct this issue? Thanks.

Sounds like you've got a short somewhere in the starting system, perhaps the starter itself. It may be a defect in a circuit board which could explain why it only happens when hot. When you get it tested be sure its when hot.

DId you fixed this? Did you check for any codes? The throttle control motor relay that is located in the IDPM box can do this. You can swap it with the AC relay in that same area which is the same part no and check if it stops doing it. You should also do the whole grounding points check one by one using the manual.
