Hi guys,

I frequent this site on a daily basis to check out what is going on with our cars.

Today, I replace the dome light bulbs and ended up not being able to open my garage door, operate side mirrors, and the bulbs still don't work. I check the fuse box in the engine bay and they all seem to be in working order. Do our vehicles have another location for fuses?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated..

When I replaced my dome lamps with LEDs that same thing happened. The dome light socket is quite flimsy and when I was manipulating it, I used too much force and somehow I shorted out all the things you mentioned. I crawled inside on the floor and could not work out which fuse, so I took it to the (gulp) dealer. They told me 3 fuses had gone and they used the 'spares' supplied in the fuse box. They charged me for labor only - $68.00

Yes Partysan.
When mine blew, it wasn't just the dome or interior lights. It was both seats, both mirrors, the trunk cargo lamps plus the speedometer and the 'ticker' that sounds when you use turn signals. All the exterior lights worked, but I couldn't see my speed or anything in the speedometer aside from the odometer miles.
It was like the crimbo tree lights - one goes out, they all go out.
