Im trying to get my guages back working so i can check my codes. I have no guages working or illuminating. i was hoping i shorted out a fuse taking the gauge cluster out

OK. You guys rock with getting this listed. Unfortunatly I still can't figure out why I don't have dash lights. Am I missing something here? There is nothing listed for the dash lights and I have replaced several fuses. My clock works but it has not lights either. There strangest part is that when I turn my lights off the Climate control dimms so much I can barely see it.Thanks again for your help.

Could be the dimmer switch ..Give it a good smack !!If they come back on its a bad solder joint on the backside.

nope, not that one, i just tried. all that happened when i pulled that one is the passenger window didnt open. sun roof still worked.

No fuse for the sunroof, just a circuit breaker in the engine room box. Page EL-128 in your manual.

I think my problem has 2 do with the electrical, the sunroof is stuck open

When the up button is pressed the motor runs but nothing moves, and none of the other buttons even make noise when pressed

the lights in my dash (all of them) quit working. i figured it was a fuse rather than them all quitting simultaniously haha

but i couldn't find anything on the fusee box that would help "/

any ideas?

or what would it be called?

Normally it's the other way around, in the daylight at least. A short somewhere or a poor connection to ground?

Not working still sounds dimmer switch related.

Is there another fuse box? I need to find one relating to the power locks.

My driver's side door won't open, and, when applying the power lock, all the doors lock immediately upon my releasing the button.

Not sure a fuse would cause that

Maybe the timer ??They will lock and unlock the doors like a Ghost.

My dashboard lights are out. anybody know what fuse relates to my dashboard lights. My radio and heater lights are OK but do not dim when headlights are turned on.

It may be the dimmer switch.
Give it a good smack with the palm of your hand and see if they dont come on.
Common in the J's.

thanx Yoda, did that. Then removed and cleaned dimmer switch and contacts--still no go. i'm wondering if it may be the little circuit board associated with the swith.

Ive heard of peeps resoldering the connections on that dimmer and resolving the issue.
I need to do mine as I have to smack it about once a month.
