I need some help on finding the proper power source on the 2015 Rogue Sv. I had this mirror on the past two Rogues, but had Moon roof and wiring was easy to find in headliner as had access plate. This one ha no sun roof, but wiring would be going to map light and in that area. Any one removed this plate ?

Did you get a chance to look at the wiring diagram?

I have a dealer dsk for the 2013 Rogue, it's a shop dsk. But so far no luck in finding the answers. I just like to find all info before I start to get into the job. My other Rogue had Moon roof and had the easy access panel, on last two cars. Without the moon roof want to see best way to bring down the panel with courtesy and map lights. After I get into that wiring can use meter to verify what is hot all time and on Ignition and gnd. Any help would be great

Can anyone provide which fuses are 12v constant, 12v Key on only for 2015 Rogue.
Opened the side panel on New Rogue, has diagram for fuse size not what line it is fused for ?

Any help be great, always had one with Moon Roof before was easy install. No Moon roof here so need to wire down to fuse box drivers side.

there is no need to start a new thread, for every question you may have regarding an install. you have already started a thread on this topic. merging.

why do you want "constant"? do you want it to be powered on even after the key was removed from the ignition?

dont forget to use this item: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GK ... XIRGPJ6FIX

Thanks for reply. Constant is for garage door opener to be hot at all times without key, I have the Amazon add a connectors coming. I need to know in the 2015 Rogue which fuses in the fuse box supply 1. constant 12v, 2 switched 12v. the box has info on fuses size but nothing to show what they are powering. I found wiring on Auto Ant iDazzling mirror. Think that show Battery with 5a direct, and Ign switch with 10a for mirror and compass. They show Number below amps, not sure if that will match box. Car not home today.

The dlr said install $33.00, but then at Dlr came back said take more time be $199.00 real joke

my advice:
turn the car off, completely. and test each open (unused) fuse respective. you might find one or two that are always hot
do you have power seats? those are always hot
try the headlight as your source. i believe these are always "hot"

you ordered the add a connectors from amazon, from that link i posted?

On order at Amazon. No I had already order the units. The fuse box has no unused fuses, at least they are all inserted. Even the spare fuse is in box. Normally the manuel has a fuse box page and shows all info the 2015 lacks that info.

Have you looked at the instructions for Nissan's accessory mirror?
https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/asistgc ... G/1UG9.PDF

An accessory service connector and posi-tap solution as outlined in the instructions will be a safe plug and play way, plus you won't risk damaging the vehicle wiring and it's easy to reverse the process if you decide to remove it, without altering the vehicle harness.

To get wiring Diagram info, look at Rogue One in the above comments. (2/20/2015 1:56 pm) He has listed a wiring diagram , just click on it and bring up the 2015 Rogue manual Go down the list to PG.pdf, click on that then on the page,, show fuse box, (PG-64 page).

Also on the first page go to mir.pdf and click show the mirror connections, you will see that fuse 30 (10A) is the switchable connection to Ignition switch. I would connect to that, off when engine off, one when running That's the fuse box on drivers side. May be others under dash just have to hunt

Hey how's it going. I just got a 15' SV Rogue and I am interested in installing a homelink mirror. Will the instructions from the 14' version Rogue (https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/asistgc ... G/1UG9.PDF) not work on the 15?

Ok, I have the 2015 Rogue Sv. Installed the mirror thru fuse box.
You need to know the wires from your mirror. Constant hot, switched hot and ground. My mirror also had wire that when shifted into reverse the mirror would not be in dime mode.

I installed the mirror with a 3 wire 18ga bought from Lowes, need about 8ft, and then cut to length after hiding it under the headliner and side post on drivers side. BE SURE AND DISCONNECT NEG BATTERY CABLE BEFORE YOU START. Give it about five minutes to clear all power. On the side post, I used small plastic ties to hook new wires to wires under post. Then feed wire behind rubber on door to fuse box area. You can fish the wire behind plastic of fuse box. I used( Bussmann Fuse taps) to make connections to fuse box. ( these fit into the fuse and have two fuses and one feeds your line) Bought from Amazon.
The constant hot wire which keeps door opener hot at all times goes to fuse #14 is 5Amp, the switched hot which runs the mirror dimming goes to fuse #30 10Amp. and I grounded the gnd to the screw in fuse box area.
Of course if you don't want opener switch hot at all times just connect both constant and switched to fuse 30.

Good luck let me know how it goes.

Hello everyone, I was looking at the wiring harness diagrams in the PG.PDF page 57.
I have a 2014 with moon roof & Tech Package. Should the connectors be their ? I mean to just plug in the new mirror with the "Home Link" ?

Thanks for sharing on the BEST FORUMS :naughty:

Not sure on the 2014, should be same as 2015. With moon roof you should have access panel above sun visor. You can use a volt meter and check for constant hot and switched. On the models 2011 thur 2013 I had all mirror wires onnect in that panel area.

I can tell you there's no access panel under the sun visors. What I would like to find out is if the wiring harness should in the diagram of page 57 is their ?

Thanks for the input
