Hi all I'm new to the forum, my 2002 q45 is getting no power to the fuel pump. Does anyone know where it is I can't find it at all.

I have a 1992 Q45 that will turn over but not start. I replaced the fuel pump about a year ago and it ran well until the other day when it died suddenly while driving. The fuel pump is definitely not working now, not sure if it's the Fuel Pump Relay or the Control Unit that I did not replace with the pump. I have no power to the Eng Cont 10a fuse under the hood but all other test good. Trying to avoid tearing the back seat out of the car again, any suggestions on where else to start looking? Where does the power to the Eng Cont fuse come from?

Nevermind...I did the jumper to ground thing off the FPCU plug and it works fine, I'll have to find a new FPCU or repair the old one. I am still curious about the Eng Cont fuse though, still no power to it right now but everything seems to be running fine.

Thanks to everyone here with all the helpful hints about the old Q's, you guys are great.

Alex,

How are you checking for power to the fuse? With a meter, one lead should be on one side of the fuse holder, and the other to ground. Only one terminal will show battery voltage with the fuse removed. Be sure to check it with the key off, and again with the key on.

Yes, using a meter, checking both sides, no voltage at all. Just not sure what that fuse controls.
