Ok here's an update I went to a local shop amd got two used working injectors, installed them very carefully & then gave it a crank started as usual& still has same issue only running on two cylinders. so I unplugged #1&3 coil packs & no change. then I switched #1&2 & 3&4 coil packs & guess what, still #1&3 giving me this migraine. any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Get a test light and make sure the ECU is firing those injectors.

Make sure the Coil Pack harness is in the right firing order. Switch the two packs around on 1&3 see what happens.

Alright I have now switched all the coilpacks around multiple times, replaced the plugs, the harness is still in factory wrap so i cant have the harness plugs on the wrong cylinders....?????HHHEEELLLPPP

How did you do your harness swap? Use the SR harness and extend? Buy a plug and play? Convert a KA harness? If it was the latter 2, it's possible to screw the firing order up in the wiring. I had a dyslexic moment years ago and wired my ignitor up 180 degrees out, so I had to install my CAS at 180 out until I ran the problem down in the wiring. Your issue sounds like it's definitely in the injector wiring. Are you positive the ECU is trying to spray them? Did you do what I suggested and get a test light to ensure that the ECU is functioning properly?

At this point, he's got it narrowed down to
1) wiring to injectors
2) wiring to coil packs
3) wiring to CAS
4) CAS itself: improperly stabbed or damaged (a bent cas wheel will cause this.. They get damaged a lot of times in warehouses by fork lifts, people not paying attention, etc., and the distributors will change the busted cover and ship it out like nothing's wrong))

Typically if you're having an issue with 1 and 3 at the same time or 2 and 4 at the same time, it's the CAS or its wiring.

If it was a damaged CAS, he should be getting an ECU code as well as no spark on those cylinders as well.

He still hasn't checked spark.. He swapped coil packs which tested the coil packs to function properly, but never tested if anything is sparking 1 and 3. CAS doesn't always throw codes and is typically the culprit when 2 odd or 2 even cylinders don't fire. And unless he just didn't mention it, he never checked for codes, either.

Forgot to mention earlier. It could also be a bad ignitor. He really hasn't eliminated anything except the injectors themselves or the coil packs themselves.

Sorry I've taken so long to get back to this but here is the whole story. I had this engine in a vert running fine til I fell asleep while driving home from helping a friend swap his engine from one car to another, so i totaled the vert got a rolling chassis and swapped everything not too damaged to use or be fixed. I'm using extended sr harness, i have changed the ignitor, figured the cas was fine since the injectors are squirting and from what I understand the cas controls the timing of both the injectors and coil packs. I know im a dumbass for forgetting how to check for codes but will one of you kind gents remind me

There's a screw on the side of the ECU inside a hole. There's also an LED next to it. When you turn the screw fully counter clockwise, it'll put the ECU in diagnostic mode. The bulb will flash and you have to count the flashes. There will usually be a series of long flashes followed by a series of short flashes. Long flashes are a 10s digit and shorts are a 1s digit. Then compare that number to the error code list.

Link for how to read fault codes was in the FAQ (There are VERY few things that aren't) :

Did you change the ignitor before or after this problem began?
