frontier suspension lift

i purchased a 3 leaf add a leaf suspension kit for my 2003 nissan frontier. the website had stated the upper a arms were made longer to provide for actual lift in front. after taking the stock arms off i placed the new and old side by side only to notice they were the exact same size. so what i took from this is the kit is just a torsion bar lift in the front which in turn is terrible. i dont know if i installed the new torsion bars on wrong or what b/c i had to jack the bars up too much for my taste just to level it up with the back, and the front wont stay alligned and the tires wear more on the inside. any opinions?
