Not sure if anyone else noticed the large area of untouched window by the driver-side(left) window wiper end point and the A-pillar, but i certainly did. so i have found a small solution for this:
  • 1. take a look at the left(driver side) window wiper
    2. look at the point there it connects to the bottom all the way at the end, is a cap that covers the 12mm bolt.
    3. pop that cap off
    4. loosen the 12mm bolt half way
    5. jiggle the wiper arm till it moves/spins freely.
    6. adjust it about an inch from its previous position and re-tighten bolt.
    7. check the wiper action on full high speed making sure that enough gap is between the wipers highest resting point and the window/A-pillar.
    DONE!
SIZE & ISSUES WITH THE FRAMELESS WINDOW WIPERS:

The original size is 26" driver side and 14" for the passenger side
Trying to get the new style of wiper (bracket-less) you certainly cant fit the smallest size available at most stores which is a 16 while still having the 26" driver side. So to circumvent this you have to get 1 size smaller in the left(driver) side to be able to fit the smallest size for the right(which happens to be 1 size larger than the oem size)

I looked at the 16" in the stores and didn't feel comfortable with trying to fit one on. I found someone on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/380385554196?ss ... 1497.l2649 selling a 15'' size. It appeared to be just a tad too long, but when I turned on the wipers they worked fine.

The only thing that bugs me is the 26" store bought flex blade causes the wiper arm to stick out while the eBay model appears flush. :tisk:

the problem with your set-up is in the snow, that little triangle space of uncleaned windshield between the two wipers will build up and cause the two wipers to hit each other. i had that in an older car and learned to give enough space between the two.

looking to buy new blades and want to get a set of bosch evolutions or icons. Would I be ok with the 26" and 16" or would you suggest 25" and 16"? 14" is a pain to try and find in a decent blade.

it all depends on how equal your two arms are. if the driver side is a tiny bit higher up on the window then you might be able to escape it. if not, you wont have room.

i would play it safe and step one down on the driver side. thats what i did and honestly, no difference.
