Hi there, i have a question for those of you who have or a had a g35x. I was looking at 2008 g35x sedan, the car drives good and is in great shape; however when i removed the oil cap i found little bit of oil inside the car itself. After some research i found that there should be no oil inside the cap, does any1 else ever come across anything like that? How bad of a problem can it cause? Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

Not an issue at all. Almost all cars (especially high-revving motors like your VQ) will generate a fine oil mist in the top end. That mist settles on the cap and collects there. It's the same as the underside of your valve cover (also coated in oil).

Whoever told you the cap should have no oil in it is 100% wrong.

However, you WILL want to keep an eye on your oil levels - Some of the 3.5l engines have oil consumption issues, which is a real issue.

Welcome aboard!
