Replacing a key fob battery that usually takes a 2025 with a 2032 is usually a no brainer plug and play, but was not so with my 2010 M45X. Anyone here able to make that work? Thickness was not an issue, as the battery closed fine. Anything else to be aware that I am missing? TIA.

No idea how smart the fobs can get, but I saw in the M37/56 forum where someone tried to use the 32 in place of the 25 battery and had issues; unless there's a batch of bad batteries floating around.

I looked and see where the contacts needed to be and it seemed fine. Put back the almost dead 2025, fob still worked. So had a quick amazon for the 2025. It has to be something physically contacting. Can't think of anything else.
