Take the lower cover that is below your steering column off and it's in there. Turn your flashers on and you can hear it clicking.

i have a question regarding to this topic. my turn signals flash too fast. would that be a bad relay? and i also have led lights in the back that include turn signals. Because when i turn hazard signal on it flashes normally. when the turn signal switch is on it flashes faster both front and rear lights.

thanks!

Usually flashing fast is a sign of a burned out bulb but since you have LED's there could be something else going on there. Was it like that when you bought the car? Maybe the previous owner has a hyperflasher on because that's what I have...people riding in my car see the fast flashers and are always telling me that I have a bulb out somewhere.

Your flasher relay is looking for a certain (bulb) load, LEDS use very little current, so the flasher is no longer seeing this original load (flashes fast to indicate a burned out bulb)

You need to install "load resistors" in paralell with your LEDS on EACH side so your flasher can "see" this load once again and flash normally. They are cheap and available where you bought the LED units.

So the LED's are throwing his system off? See...you learn something everyday.

Yes, only because they (LEDs) draw such little current, the flasher can't "see" the load.....the resistors are an easy fix and will restore the flasher cadence to normal again.
