My buddy Tyler in Colorado has done it. First he did the VH45 (V8) swap from an infiniti into his pathfinder, enough power to spin 35's on pavement. Who the hell can even fit 35's on an R50? Not many. He had a 6" subframe lift for a while. Now he went full hydro steering and solid axle swap:

Nice! What was the change in fuel consumption like? (providing he doesn't take off from every green like that )

I doubt it, Tyler has the engine to push the tires properly

The things I miss on NICO! I haven't been on here in forever and figured I'd have a look around.

The project has gotten a little bit further along than the last pictures Adam put up but it's still not done. I'm waiting on an Atlas 4-speed transfer case right now that probably another 4 weeks out. Not that I have the money to finish it right now anyway.

Appreciate all the comments....gives me some motivation to finish it up. I haven't done the best job documenting everything and it's hard keeping up on so many different sites but I'll try to check in once I make some more progress. Otherwise I'm making Adam responsible for keeping everyone informed once it moves but it will probably be summertime. Don't mind my windshield banner!

Thanks for the updates, Tyler! The project looks SICK! Those H2 wheels look sweet (H2 right?)

That hydro steering is gnarly... man that thing is built right....
