Yeah...I've wanted to for a while, but the whole DangerSPL thing kept me from messing with it. I finally decided "to hell with it" and flashed CM6. I like it. I've been running ADW on 1.6 for ages, so it doesn't look much different, but functionally it's a whole new world. I forgot to wipe my cache on the first try, and hung at the CM launcher, but everything worked smoothly on the second try. Phone works great, all features running intact, it's great.

And, maybe best of all, reflashing fixed the damn 1.6 call volume bug that afflicted my Dream.

It's been quite a while since i've checked in this forum, obviously since this post is a couple of months old.

I tried CM6 about a month ago but didn't care for it too much, I think I would be more inclined to run it on a less powerful device though but it just seemed silly to run it on my EVO, without it supporting 4G, HDMI, and being so stripped back. I'm running Android Centrals Rebirth ROM based on the most recent OTA update and then a custom kernal(Kings BFS 11) clocked at 1.2ghz. So far i'm loving it, it's a fast ROM that looks and functions just like stock HTC Sense but MUCH faster. I did flash a custom version of Launcher Pro to it though and then installed Beautiful Widgets so it doesn't look like every other EVO in the family(3 others, 2 of them having the same Otterbox Commuter case as I do  )

I'm wanting to put CM6 on my wife's LG Optimus S soon though, her phone is amazingly quick in stock form though and it's only got a 600mhz processor
