Finally a real fix for the radio and clock issue on the r51 display...no Navi!!!!

So after many days of searching... the real fix is found... no av unit replacement necessary... Nissan fails to mention the internal diagnostic mode for the system that includes a factory reset for the unit itself... simply start the vehicle.. hold down settings button and turn the volume button counter clockwise(to the left) for 30 clicks or more and a menu should pop up displaying self diagnosis or conformation/ adjustments...simply go into the second option and scroll down to the bottom and select initialize system and confirm memory of a system is eliminated... after a quick restart of the system... the radio is now a original factory settings and no more clock/ presets changing when they want too.. I hope this helps others.. I know I was happy to see that it worked for me
