Hello,

I've read through each thread that came up in the search, but wanted to clear one thing up. I am picking up an '06 M35X in a few days (black on black, 60k miles, every single package), and am looking to lower it. The Espelir springs will not provide the drop that I am looking for.
I saw that a few members with the AWD M used Eibach springs, the height looked perfect, but there was always 3-4 members saying that the AWD models will have "issues" with springs other than Espelir.
I simply want to know if there are any issues I can run into other than obviously potentially blowing the shocks/struts prematurely? What else could possibly be affected?
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to my stay here.

No issues using the rwd eibachs. I've installed several sets w/o adverse effects.

Thanks, realistically I can't think of anything special getting messed up unless the m35x had some kind of sensors that got messed up, but I guess not.
Can't wait to pick it up! Congrats on your iso feature btw!

Thanks Chris!
Even a little lower wouldn't hurt, but I don't want this to be as useless as my 190e, lol.

Eibach's are the 2nd lowest you can go with regular springs, only thing more are the Tein S-Tech's. If you want lower than either of those, you will need to get coilovers.

Yeah, I live in Southampton, 18966. About 5 minutes away from 2nd Street Pike and Street Road.

I was under the impression that Eibachs will give you more of a drop than Tein H-Techs and S-techs. Am I wrong?

That's incorrect. Eibachs will give you a lower drop than Tein H Techs, but not Tein S-Techs

I like the fog light covers.

I went to the dealer to order a set of chrome covers and was told they don't fit the 2006 M's.

Chris any info you can share?

JDM...here's a pic...

X on H-Techs w/ 20" wheels

I've had the H-Techs on now for several months, without any problems! Ride & Handling is excellent...It also sits pretty even...unlike the S-Techs and others where the back seems lower than the front!

Thanx JDM....as for camber...haven't had any need to adjust it. Have had the wheels on about the same time as the springs with virtually no effect on my tires.

Best news I heard this summer!! :D Shopping for H-techs now (group buy?)

Would the springs void warranty in anyway?

Never adjusted it with the stechs either, I'm pretty sure it was off, but it didn't bother me.
