Factory Bose Sub Wiring Diagram

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I have a 2012 EX35 and wanted to know if anyone has the wiring diagram for the factory sub harness to the Bose 28170 1BM0A Box Subwoofer.

I am wanting to tap into this harness and add an aftermarket amp & sub to it

Thanks

Thanks for replying Jake!

sat4fun,

Not sure if you've seen this yet, I'm sure it's old technology by now, but it may be of interest: http://handcraftedcaraudio.com/2009-infiniti-ex35/

I've been wanting to put a custom "space saving" sub in but I'm not sure what to go with yet. I'll probably stop by my local pro audio to see what they have to say.

Let me know what you find out and do....

As for a custom sub. I just built my own. I took out the spare tire since I figured worst case is calling roadside assistance.

Damz son. Did you hook up after the amp like link I sent or did you now of a way to bypass the stock amp for the sub?

I hooked up the Kicker amp to the wires feeding the factory amp from the head unit. I figured I was sure to get full range going to my Kicker amp this way. The factory amp is under the floor board in the rear left corner of the car. Attached is an image of the harness at the factory amp.
