The install is going slow due to lack of product, but here we go. I first installed a deck and fed the pre-out into the factory amp. I moved the factory deck "cassette in my case" behind the nav screen. The factory amp is digital so it has to stay unless you wanna loose nav, or are replacing all speakers and using a aftermarket amp. This allowed me to use sw controls for volume. Next I ran 0ga. to the trunk, and made a dist./fuse block under the hood with digital display "It's a modified Stinger one" I grew tired of not being able to use my sw controls for anything outside of volume and ptt. Since the sw control signal is data and there is nothing out there that can translate it I made my own. I used the buttons out of a JVC faceplate and mounted the to a circuit board behind the factory buttons. I then put resistors on each button at least 400 ohms apart. I cut the data wire in the steering column and used the sw side to be the input on a PAC SW-JACK. The other side I hooked to the factory sw controls which I moved to the kick. I soldered a wire attached to a button I mounted high on the dead pedal for PTT. I had to run a ground into the sw because the factory one changed too much when the sw was moved "clock spring". Lucky for me there is a blank pin it the airbag plug I was able to use. Works like a champ. I'm fiberglassing now and will take pics as I go along.

I'm selling all the panels and enclosures if anyone is interested. No electronics just panels and enclosures. Pick up only. Concord NC. If interested make me a offer.

I sold the car. Gonna use all the electronics in my new car. If someone wants the trunk panels and enclosures come and get it. If not I'm throwing it away.

2002. As long as it's a f50 Q45 it will fit.

I finished it then like two months later I needed something to pull a bigger boat. My beater Mazda B2000 wasn't going to cut it so I sold the Q and got a FJ Cruiser.
