Yeah, I expected the guy to go into detail as to what was fixed after being "jumped" but he mentioned only the external parts brokenthemadscientist wrote:So on impact the wing and the NAWS!!!! brackets broke, but I am to believe the car is somehow undamaged? That's about as believable as the acting in that movie. Can you throw in the Supra that hit the billboard and the S2000 with the front end ripped off?

There are long stories associated with some cars. We saw about 150 horsepower with the small jets on the bottle. Best pass with a stock engine, cams, transmission, and 2530's in Palmdale is below.Gold Digger wrote:"Hey, it was in the first Fast and Furious movie."

Here's an off the wall question for you.
Once the 1989 R32's become 25 years old, how do you think it will affect the prices of them over here? You know everyone and their red-headed stepchildren is going to want one, and the ones here still in decent shape are gonna get snatched.
Right now, prices for R32 and R33 GT-R's in good shape are still pretty respectable, but I'd like to see a large portion of them stay here in Japan. As soon as those bishez hit stateside, they'll be abused beyond belief and people trying to sell a POS are still going to charge out the wazoo, because hey...it's a Skyline. JDM tax, yo!!!

Is that currently owned by a private party or a company? I can imagine if whoever owned it sold it, they would ask an astronomical price.
Still going to try to get one. By the way I'm swinging by next Friday to get my 350Z dyno/tuned.tyndago wrote:Car prices. I think even though there may be a lot of people that "want" them, most will be a little afraid of the whole import process. Its hard to know, but Canada and others have had 15 year rules. California will still be a closed/limited market . You will have to FTP them.
I saw a behind the scenes for the movie a while ago, some of the stunt R34's where base model Skylines with alot of work done to them, some even had the rb26.Gold Digger wrote:This is weird.
There are a couple things that I notice that make this car not a GT-R, but then there are a couple things that make it a GT-R.
1. The GT badge on the lower back end of the front fenders has blue, which usually designates a non-turbo car. All of the turbo Skylines I have ever seen all have red where the T is located.
2. The dash/center console inside is from a 25GT-t, not a GT-R
Anyone have any insight?
