Hi Guys,

Have any of you installed the Espelir Lowering Springs specific for the M35x. Its on Burtmans site:

How is the ride quality with these springs? Also, does this void the warranty? Also, the website says the drop is 1.25". Is it actually this much of drop on the front and rear or is it different?

Oh is there a possibility that this can mess up the AWD system?

I put these in my m45x about a week ago. the ride is firmer, epsecially on bigger bumps, but not horrible. comparable to my 04 g35 coupe which had 18s. my m45x has 20s now. no idea about the warranty, as likely to have problems with that as you would with non awd model lowered. also Nissan installed mine don't think there's any problem with the awd except the front are more difficult to install because of the awd. Drop was a solid 1.5 inches or so all around i believe. front will still sit slightly higher because it does beforehand, but its less noticeable now. If anything the ride quality in a 35x will be slightly better due to less weight in the front (the springs are the same for both x models) here's some pics

Your ride looks ballin man! The rims are nice too. Thanks for the info. I am hoping the ride doesn't get too bumpy as we have crappy roads here. I just ordered the springs in. I will post pics of my ride when i get the springs installed. Kinda excited to get rid of that huuuuuuge gap in the front. I also have 20"s on my ride.

By the way, how much did it cost for you to get the springs installed and the alignment done?

Well I live in NJ and drive to/from and in Manhattan, I drove all over Manhattan the other night with it, wasn't so bad, just have to be a little careful. I got hooked up through a friend, at a Nissan dealership (cash to a mechanic) he only charged me 200 including springs alignment, and mounting a drill on OEM Infiniti spoiler. I got quotes of 275-300 just for the springs alone, including the place I bought my rims at, so that wasn't too high probably. Good luck and thanx for the comments!

Mikey, you still around?

Also, those wanting these, I have 10 sets on the way again, and almost half are spoken for, if you want these, place your order soon.

After these are all gone, not sure if we will be able to get them again. Espelir has discontinued a lot of things and anything moving slow won't last.
