Engine taking longer to turn over

Postby kschao » Tue Mar 09, 2010 8:54 pm

Just started noticing this the other day when I started my car. At first I thought it was a fluke but its been happening every time and I'm definitely starting to notice the engine taking extra "revolutions?" (not sure what the proper term is). Also, my interior lights (buttons, dash, clock) which turn on automatically, flicker pretty dramatically when I start the car now. My car is approaching 2 years and I read that people are having battery problems around then. Is it my time? Does anyone with known battery issues experience the same problem? edit: just went to start it again... definitely dragging like crazy. Sounds like a 15 year old car when starting. No more vroom when it starts

Check the battery. I had to replace the battery in the '07 already.

Yea turns out it was the battery. Dealer also reprogrammed my ECM and valve control. Good thing its under warranty :D. He said that he had seen that problem before in other G's so it might be a model thing.
