I washed my engine after spilling a little power steering oil.I washed it at a high pressure booth. Do it alot. I think water has gone in some where electrical in the engine bay.. it runs for 500 m then dies while at 80klm an hour in 3rd or any speed for that matter! I wait 10 to 15 minutes and it starts again! And runs for 500 m and so on. No warning lights on the dash when it starts. Can hear fuel pump priming.... any ideas?

I would start taking wiring connections apart to look for water... remove the intake tube at the air box, and check there, etc.

WD-40 works pretty well for drying out wet electrical parts.

(The "WD" is an acronym for "Water Displacement" - which is exactly what it does)
