engine noise when starting cold

My 2015 rogue has a engine noise when first starting up cold,sounds like a piston slap for a couple of seconds.Took it back to the dealer and left it overnight and they checked it and told me it was normal and they all do that.Does anybody else have this noise or are they full of it ?
