Well I needed 24 hrs to verify something... I appreciate you hanging onto them for me and giving me first crack. But I have just learned I'm going to be a first time Dad!!

So, I have to pass on these and put it towards a "baby fund" lol

Excellent buy though...someone needs to pick these up!!

I have 1 set that is 2 in diameter test pipe with no resonator and I have another pair that is 2.25in inlet and 2.5in outlet resonated. Both are going for $80 each.

#7 is a stainless steel testpipe with resonator. Its 2.25in inlet and 2.5in outlet. Sounded great on my g35 with the headers. I did comparison installing the headers first and then the pipes and noticed the gains and the nice sound increase (not too much actually but nice). Its goin for $80 firm. So are the other test pipes I have but those are only 2in in diameter throughout and are not resonated. I had those on and didn't like the sound it gave off, but to each their own...Good luck.

Hey David,

Can you provide pictures of the torque dampener and sway bars? I need to be saving for my baby fund too (CONGRATS SEAN!!!), but spending a couple bill for these sounds cool too.

If everything looks good, I can paypal you right away.

ya no worries i'll get those pics out. Just been a lil bit lazy kinda sorta. I travel alot due to my work so when I wrote the first thread with all of the prices i was actually in san jose costa rica at the airport but im back now. I saved all of the nuts and bolts just as it came. One washer didn't look good to me probably from over torque when i installed it, so i just replaced it with an equal one that i got at the hardware store.

hey i was just wondering cause u do seem to know alot, would the newer model lexus sc with the hardtop convertable be able to take a 2jz. Would it needs custom mounts or a direct swap. I know that the older lexus sc came with a v6 option which coincidentally was actually the 2jz in either turbo or NA form. Just a question cause i would love to buy the newer one and drop in a 2jz only if its a direct swap. Otherwise the older model will be my choice with body kit and dual exhaust connecting to twin turbo..

Just asking incase u might know or if u could point me in the direction where i could get some answers. Thanks

This is out of my realm of expertise.

The early gen SC came with the 2JZ-GE I6 or the 1UZ-FE V8. The 3UZ-FE seems to be in the same line as the 1UZ-FE so if they engine mounts for the 2JZ and 1UZ are the same (just speculation), then the mounts for the 3UZ and 1UZ might also be the same which would mean that the 2JZ and 3UZ mounts were the same...and it is swappable.

I'd go look in a lexus forum for that info.

I had the week off, so I went ahead and had Stillen send me a damper. It really gives the car a more soild feel. I like it...a lot!!! Although the install time could be spend up quite a bit, if you move a few extra things out of the way. It took well under a hour, but I could probably do it in 15 minutes the second time around.

Stillen needs help with their instructions manuals.

Was it worth the money in your opinion?

Yes, I would say it is worth it. I just got it from Stillen so I could have it overnighted. I only had 4 days off and I didn't want to wait. Otherwise I would have gotten the Ebay brand.

thanks for the info for the lexus, its well appreciated. I already bought a clean 2jz from ebay and had it checked for compression and leak tested and everything came back excellent thank god. Its got the stock turbos but came with a aeromotive fuel regulator and a billet fuel rail with 500cc injectors. Personally i think the injectors are might be too big for the stock turbos but I plan on upgrading anyways. I already purchased the AEM plug n play unit to fine tune the fuel and waiting on the hks DLI for the ignition. I also bought some of the pulstar plugs cause I liked them so much when i had them in my g35 coupe. I really felt a difference after installing them. Anyways thanks again. If you know anyone who wants those G35 bolt on parts let me know.
